Coll de Rates
One of the most recognized and visited ports of La Marina Baja. With slopes of 6-7%, it adapts very well to all profiles of cyclists. Throughout the journey, you can enjoy beautiful views in any direction you take. It is usually a fixed place for some professionals who use it to train and prepare for the season.
Puerto de Bèrnia
The climb to the Puerto de Bernia is one of the mythical ones. This road zigzags around the Sierra de Bernia. The views of the mountains and the coast of Alicante are worth it.
The road is quite quiet. It is in good condition, although you may find occasional spots on the asphalt, especially on the edges.
In some parts, the slope is more than 12%. Skill on the bike helps with these sections.
